We have chosen the Malcolm Hotel in Canmore as the location for our gathering. It is located 60 minutes driving from west Calgary, also accessible by shuttle from the Calgary airport. The hotel offers an accessible venue with comfortable rooms, while avoiding the busy atmosphere of Canmore proper. Around the hotel, several activities are available: hiking, snowshoeing, downhill and cross-country skiing, as well as a wolfdog sanctuary and numerous restaurants and tourist sites. Feel free to come in early to have a few days in the mountains!

Accommodations

  1. Visit the Malcolm Hotel website at malcolmhotel.ca

  2. Select your check-in and check-out dates. Do NOT enter a Promo Code yet.

  3. After entering your dates, click “Book Now.”

  4. In the next screen, at the top, it says ADD CODE. Choose Group Attendee from the drop-down. Enter 1702SHEA in the box beneath Group Attendee. Click ADD

  5. A box will pop up saying ‘Coburn & Maliel Wedding’. Click the ‘Select & Go to the Next step’ button.

  6. Select your room type.

  7. Select add room & checkout. The 20% discount will be automatically applied.

  8. Enter all information required, and proceed to payment.

  9. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided
